When it comes to jewellery, I'm a bit of an extreme. I like elegance OR quirk. Nothing in between.
When I was sent a release of the Celestial Embracia by Goldheart, I swooned. Because it was THE type of jewellery I was into - elegant, sleek and pretty.
From its name - Embracia - you might have guessed, this gem captures spirit of intimacy and closeness of a lovers' hug, by featuring a loop of white gold band intertwined across itself. This collection is available in the form of a ring, pendant and bangle - and of them, I love the bangle the most (which starts from $16,162, let's just say I have super exquisite taste).
Prices of the pieces in the collection starts from $4,138 (for a pendant).

Get an anniversary ring from Goldheart Pure Blue Collection
I remember writing A LOT about engagement rings and wedding bands when I was writing for Female Brides and Her World Brides. Yet, little has been heard about anniversary rings - well, at least for me. So it's interesting to know that Goldheart's latest Pure Blue Collection features anniversary rings.
Anniversary rings are given to each other to commemorate the years you have shared, the commitment and fidelity you've given each other, and a pledge to continue to stay in love for the days to come. I think this is kinda cool and a girl wouldn't probably mind having another stone in her jewel collection :p
The key stone in this collection is blue sapphire, which is symbolic of fidelity and purity. The colour blue also represents the grandeur of two souls that come together as one. In terms of design, lots of thought has also been put inside. Every ring in the Pure Blue Collection features an embedded sapphire in the inner shank (yes, inner, not outside that's shown to the rest of the world). This represents a promise that needs no words, and as a personal and intimate testimony to a couple's love.
At a Catholic wedding, the wedding rings are an important part of the ceremony. The priest will bless the rings, and the rings are a sign of love and fidelity that the couple promise each other. And a promise that goes something like, "With this ring, I wed thee" is given. As a true blue Catholic girl, picking a pair of rings that has deep significance is extremely important. It will, after all, serve as a reminder to you, everyday after you wed, of the vows that were exchanged at the altar.
The Pure Blue Collection also features engagement rings and wedding bands and is available from now at all Goldheart Boutiques islandwide.

What I'm lusting after
When I have nothing better to do, I sit down, daydream... and think about the wonderful things I would want to put into my shopping bags.
I have long fallen in love with Kate Spade's book clutch series. And I've more than once walked into the store to just ogle and it, and look at The Boyfriend with puppy eyes, in the hope that he will get one of those for me as a super-early birthday present.
And then I saw this:
Yes, the Romeo & Juliet book clutch. It's freaking named after me!!! (J in Kristen J. Soh is Juliet) You know, I am a HUGE Kate Spade fan and I always think that perhaps... just perhaps... Kate herself knows that I exist and have always been designing stuff that are dedicated to me. There's no other reason why everything - almost! - that she designs appeals to me.
And have I told you that I'm a huge fan of Kate Spade? (Yes, I know I just did) And I think this orange bag called the Essex Scout will certainly look so much better on my shoulder than on the Kate Spade shelves. Now, my birthday IS really coming... in a few weeks' time, but I've already told The Boyfriend that I wanted tostop being a bimbo be a better blogger and want a camera instead.
I think by now you should know that the only person who would be really generous to me is The Boyfriend.
This necklace is from Folli Follie, and it's called Heart 2 Heart. The pendant, as you can see, can be worn in two different ways. I am a sucker for transforming jewellery (think I'nova series from CITIGEMS) and I think this is really cool. The fact that it's rose gold coloured rocks big time too.
And speaking of rose gold and jewellery, I also love cocktail rings. Not that I own many because I'm 1. clumsy 2. have short fingers. But I prefer telling people that pianists can't wear chunky rings (I'm trained as a pop pianist and I don't like to wear rings when I play).
However, these finger candies from Goldheart's Mode collection won me over. I love anything that's rose-gold, with some blings and have super cool geometrical lines.
What are you lusting after at the moment?
